Lupo Late Thursday night, Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Mandarita Lupo, 29, of St. Cloud, for hiring a hit man, who was actually an undercover deputy, to kill her ex-husband.
On Wednesday, detectives received anonymous information that Lupo was looking to hire a hit man to kill her ex-husband. An undercover deputy met Thursday with Lupo, who said her ex-husband was trying to take away her son and that she was “hoping you can get rid of him,” according to Sheriff's Office reports. Lupo said she wanted the incident to look like an accident, reports said. She drove the undercover deputy to her husband's residence and place of work, providing the “hit man” with her ex-husband's work schedule. After they agreed on a price, deputies arrested Lupo, charging her with solicitation to commit murder. She was booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond. |
