Homelessness awareness walk Saturday |

Helping Others Make the Effort, or HOME, is sponsoring a homelessness awareness walk Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at the Kissimmee lakefront.
Registration for the event, called Walk a Mile in My Shoes, is available online at www.osceolahome.org. Walkers are encouraged to register online and arrive between 10 and 11 a.m. for check-in.
The walk will conclude with comments from HOME board members about homelessness in Osceola County. Sponsorships also are available for the walk.
November is Homelessness Awareness Month.
