Fredericks Nathaniah Fredericks, a 31-year-old Kissimmee man arrested in Operation Kissimmee Crackdown in December, last week was sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison for distributing crack cocaine.
Fredericks twice sold crack cocaine to an undercover Kissimmee police officer, arranging for the sale to take place at a local market in the McLaren Circle area, according to court documents. He then used other people to complete the transactions with the undercover officer. He pleaded guilty to the two counts of cocaine distribution on Aug. 20. On Nov. 18, U.S. District Judge Mary S. Scriven sentenced him to 188 months, an increased sentence because of his prior record distributing cocaine and his status as a career offender under federal guidelines. A co-defendant with Fredericks, 45-year-old Michael Jerome McMillon, previously was sentenced to 72 months in federal prison for his part in one of the charges. |
