Two motorcyclists were killed in separate hit and run crashes on Osceola Parkway over the weekend, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
On Saturday at around 9:31 p.m., the drivers of a yellow motorcycle and a blue motorcycle were exiting the ramp from Interstate 4 onto Osceola Parkway. For an unknown reason, both lost control and were ejected from their bikes, troopers reported. Ross Dale, 20, of Auburn, Texas, died at the scene. The driver and a passenger of the yellow motorcycle, which could have damage on its left side, left the scene. On Sunday, a 42-year-old Kissimmee motorcyclist was killed in another hit-and-run crash on Osceola Parkway. At around 1:46 a.m., Raul Alicea Nogueras, 42, was driving east on Osceola Parkway behind a van. As the road merges at Briarwood Drive in the Buenaventura Lakes neighborhood, Nogueras drove to the van's right side. However, the van swerved into the motorcycle, colliding with Nogueras' left side. Nogueras' motorcycle slid onto the shoulder of the parkway, and fell on top of him. He was rushed to Florida Hospital Kissimmee, where he died. The van, which could have damage on its right side, left the scene. The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the crashes can call Crimeline at 407-348-TIPS. |
